Congratulations to Ruth Ryder!

Please join me in congratulating Ruth Ryder on her new position as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Programs related to Formula Grants in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education at the USDOE. Ruth has been a tremendous partner and advocate for state directors of special education throughout her entire career at OSEP. NASDSE has had the honor to work with her since 1988 when she joined the office. Her expertise, knowledge and collegiality will be sorely missed. Please thank her for her incredible service and wish her well in her new role!
